P90X IS AN ADVENTURE: DAY 5 LEGS & BACK

Yesterday, Day 5 of my P90X journey was a good one I have to say!
One thing that has come into my realization is, though P90X is seriously tough, it seems to be getting easier for me to do. And I mean this Mentally as well as Physically!

Last week, the day after I started, my muscles were on a serious lock-down.  It was so bad that I could barely sit. And getting up from out of my seat or even off of the bed took much longer than I ever thought that it could.  But I must admit, getting through all of the pain and so forth was an experience within itself that I didnt mind going through.

TODAY: one week later, I think how last week on my 2nd day I thought that I was not going to make it to today with the P90X program. But Im here in the 2nd week and Im feeling good.

Muscles are a lil tender but not as bad as the 1st week. And the burn, I love the burn. It's an pain that feels good at the same time, and one that makes u know that u have accomplished something...LOL

ANYHOW:
It was LEGS & BACK for Day 5 and Tony worked me out. For this routine there are alot of pull-ups for the back and for the legs, there are so many LEG BURNING routines that it is nearly impossible for an beginner to get through them all. HELL it is nearly impossible to get through a couple of these things, but u just press pause and get yourself together and then continue on.
I tried to do each routine to completion but the BUrrrN was so intense that when I pressed pause to gain my body back to an point of balance, then tried to return, I couldn't. For my legs were so wobbly and would began to burn right from the jump. So I would have to let go of that routine and then continue on with the next one.

Any of u who say that u got through all of the routines of P90X without stopping for the 1st time, I give it to u, for u really pressed it.
But most people will tell u that it is Dayum near impossible to do so. Especially if your body has never been through any such of an routine like this.

I say: TAKE YOUR TIME !!! DONT try to complete all of the routines at once. But PUSH yourself to the limit that u can't do anymore, which will be working your muscles to it's maximum potential.

This way, if u do so, then the next time that u do them u will be able to push a lil further and before u know it u will find yourself getting through the whole routine.

P90X is definitely an ADVENTURE. One that is worth the TRAVELING.
For those of u whom feel as though u wont be able to do it, I was right there with u at one time.
But u know deep down inside that u can. It's just that spirit of fear that u are letting take over u.
